Alanah Tuohey

Hello! My name is Alanah-- I'm an illustrator and creative writer with a passion for blending both disciplines to explore the subjects of her work. My work focuses on the strange, uncanny and fantastical, especially as expressed through history.

I graduated with a BFA in creative media (a multimedia art degree) from Champlain College in 2025, but I grew up in rural Maine, collecting every book on ghosts and monsters from my little elementary school and imagining what might lurk in the crawlspaces of my old house. and I’ve always been deeply fascinated with the otherworldly— and found the best way to reach it was to be a storyteller! I'm interested in finding the human heart in the strange and uncanny, and presenting it with the same intrigue and curiosity that it always evoked in me.

My program of choice for illustrative work is Clip Studio Paint, but I am also proficient in Photoshop. I am also skilled in Twine, Inky/Ink, Ren'py.
